Many anglers don’t realize it, but the weather and moon have a ton to do with fishing. the three things fit together like pieces of a puzzle, and if you know hoe to put that puzzle together the result is a great day of fishing. That’s why in this article, the weather, moon, & fishing, I’m going to due my best to help you understand how these three factors fit together.
Have you ever had one of those epic days fishing when it seemed as if you could do no wrong? like whatever you threw into the water resulted in fish being caught? this was probably due to the fact that you were fishing at the perfect time, when both the weather and moon were in your favor, rather than anything else. as I said, these three things, the weather, moon, and fishing, go together like pieces of a puzzle.
For example, did you know that certain fronts are considered fish catching fronts and you are much more likely to catch fish after these fronts pass through your fishing area? Or that fish are much more active during certain phases of the moon? and all you have to do is pay attention to which phase the moon happens to be in, and fish accordingly? these questions have very simple answers, and simply educating yourself is all that is necessary.
I’m not referring to becoming a meteorologist or scholar on astrology either. All that’s necessary is a little research on how these factors (the weather & moon) effect fishing. a search on the internet will do the trick, or getting your hands on a A Free E-book, such as this, will do the trick as well. Either way the important thing is that you start spending your fishing time in a much more valuable way. Which means fishing when these two factors are in your favor.
We, as anglers, get a limited amount of time to spend out on the water pursuing our favorite activity. Doesn’t it make sense to maximize the limited time we have, so that we’re fishing when these factors are working for us, rather than against us? Of course it does, which is why understanding how the weather & moon effect fishing is of the utmost importance to the beginning angler. and if you’re an experienced angler, and hadn’t realized how much these factors effect fishing, then you need to know how as well.
The bottom line is that the weather and moon have an incredible impact on fishing and the amount and size of fish that you catch. this is why doing a little research on the subject is so important to anyone who wants to be a better angler. when you have one of those epic days fishing, it probably had much less to do with you than you might have thought.
