Disneyland dream jobs
Some people want to be a firefighter when they grow up. Or maybe an astronaut.
But there’s a whole group of people out there whose idea of the greatest job in the world is to work at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

And you might be surprised at the things people do there that they think are really cool.
Take Lynda Woodhouse, who has been a registered nurse at the resort for seven years.
“When someone comes to see us or we respond out to the park, their day is not going as expected,” says Nurse Lynda. “We have a unique and special opportunity to turn their day around and try to put some ‘magic’ back in their day.”
She said it is especially rewarding to see the kids light up when Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse or one of the other characters come by the first Aid station.
“I think my job is absolutely the best at Disneyland,” Nurse Lynda says.
Or maybe you would like Paola C. Lopez’s job – fairy godmother in training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
“(We have) fun talking to girls and engaging their imaginations as we transform them from a regular girl to beautiful little princess,” she says. “We don’t just make memories for her and her family, but for ourselves as well.”
