According to the latest research, approximately 75% of prisoners have been bullied at some point in their childhood. Is it not this sufficient to show you that a child who is a bully could be a potential human bomb for the future that can explode at any time? you know that the majority of shooting incidents in American schools are the cases where the bullying victim has shot the bullies for revenge? Is it scary to know this? If yes, then as a responsible parent, it is important for you to make sure that you know whether your child is a bully or not.

A bully child may not know that bullying can be extremely dangerous for him and it can ruin his personality and career as well, therefore it is the duty of parents to identify the common characteristics of bullying among their children because they are the ones who know their children better than anyone.

Common Characteristics of a Bully Child

•Your child school teacher, principal or counselor can give you the strongest indication that there have been cases of your child bullying. Maybe it is difficult for parents to trust the words of strangers but school authorities do not make false accusations of trouble making. you can also ask about child bullying attitude from his friends or from the people around him at school.

•Observe your child attitude towards his friends and peers. If your child has an authoritative and bossy type of attitude then it means that there are more tendencies that a child can be a bully.

•If you are also getting so many complaints from other parents about the bullying attitude of your child then it means that there is something wrong with your child and it needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

•If your child comes home with cuts and abrasions on a regular basis then it should be an alarming sign for you. If your child repeats the same excuses for the bruises and cuts it could mean that there is some serious bullying going on. If your child has the habit of breaking home rules then it means that there could be trouble.

•If your child has the nature to intimidate young kids then it means that the child is certainly having a bullying nature.

•If your child has a low tolerance level, an aggressive and dominating attitude then these are the strong indications of a bullying nature.

The bully is like a HE man who is much stronger and bigger as compared to the victim. Bully child likes to tease a victim with his gang. the gang of a bully child consists of those people who encourage the bully child to bully the victim. Bully enjoys bullying with his friends while the victim always suffers with pain, misery and distress.

The vicious cycle of bullying

Bullying encourages spreading the vicious culture in the society and it creates trouble for the victim and makes it difficult for the victim to live a normal life. Bully victims always feel fear and anxiety in the presence of a bully person. If you suspect that your child is a bully or a bully victim and you do not know how to deal with it, speak to your child school authorities and get some information about their anti bully policies and ask for help.
