1. Keith Thurman TKO-3 Brandon Hoskins

No test for Thurman, as he blasted out the Missouri club novice without much resistance. Hoskins was game and gave it what he had, but the problem was he didn’t have much to offer at all. Hoskins took a knee in the second round, but made it out of that frame before referee Russell Mora made a mercy stoppage, which was a good decision. Thurman 17-0 (16), Hoskins 16-1-1 (8).

2. Omar Figueroa TKO-2 Robbie Cannon

Cannon, another Missouri club fighter, was put down on a body shot in the first round. in the second, Figueroa continued his march, and flattened him with a left hook to the jaw. Cannon got up, but referee Vic Drakulich went ahead and ended the fight, which again was the right call. Figueroa 16-0-1 (13), Cannon 12-7-2 (6).
